It is with great sadness that we announce our dear mother’s passing on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at the age of 90.
She was predeceased by her three sons, Vernon, Rodger, and Wayne; her husband, Clarence; her sister, Emily (Dolly) Starsiak; her sister and brother-in-law, Lillian and Ronald Hill; and her son-in-law, Garry Danylyshen.
Virginia is survived by her daughters, Carol (Chuck) Wilson and Sandra Danylyshen; her grandchildren, Justin Wilson, Chelsea Silva (Kevin Moffat), Ashley Catellier (Cory), Scott Giesbrecht, Kaylyn Figueroa (Estuardo); and her brother-in-law, Edward Starsiak.
Mom was such a wonderful person. Anyone who knew her loved her. Her heart was always filled with kindness and compassion. She was always there for anyone who needed her and will be very sadly missed. A golden heart stopped beating, and Heaven gained an Angel.
Cremation has taken place, and a private family interment will be held at a later date.
